Is there a problem attaching youtube videos to a post? No matter what combination I use, the video thumbnail doesn't come up. Am I doing something wrong ?

I've never been able (in the past year) to get the video thumbnail to come up. I always add the direct link so that people can access a video.

youtube2] your tube film [/youtube2]

You must delete the 2 behind Youtube in front and back than it,s work

For example my cat sailing movie

The current format for YouTube and Vimeo are pretty much the same format...

You only need the letter or number code specific to the video. None of the http://... URL are used.

Looks something like:

[vimeo]988445[/vimeo]

Your video works as follows:

[youtube2]KwkumqLt4-A[/youtube2]

Yes, that works. Thanks, Matt. The only problem is determining the best way to get at the unique video identifier.

Here are a couple of mine--it does work.
