Angie and I did a Sandals deal with another couple about 7 years ago. It was great, all you could eat and drink was included and they had 3 Hobie Waves. Unfortunately, we found out that just because we couldn't see the boat employees on the shore.....they had powerful binnoculars and could see us. Just as we felt safe enough to be 'Au Natural' they came roaring up on us in their power boat  supposedly we had sailed too far from shore...I don't think that's why they chased us down.

This was in St. Lucia. Good luck with your trip and have a GREAT time!

OH CRAP!! I tried to stop reading but it was far too late...by the time I realized where Todd was going with this story, I couldn't help it. I now have a mental image of Todd and, thankfully, his much better half, naked, au natural, birthday suit wearing selves cruising on the same waters where I might have come across them whilst sailing out of Tortola. AAGH!!

LOL, well... I hope they don't chase us down.. I will be sure to tell them that I have a hobie and will be quite safe on it out of the bay.

Had a good time in Jamaica. Only sailed the wave once. The wind was strong the day I took it out.. I had a blast.

The main didn't cleat very easily.. and the cams were not great, but it was still fun. I was glad to have my gloves with me.

I hope you had a chance to remove those yellow fun barriers while you were out on the water! Ha!

Love the photo though...reminds me of the time Angie and I spent in St. Lucia...that was a GREAT vacation!

LOL, I wanted to remove everything... but it was pretty rough the one time we took it out. It scared my girl a bit when I told her I wanted to take it all off... it was before she was comfortable with the "au natural" setting on the island behind us in that picture. After that, I wanted to go out again but the weather and our schedule didn't cooperate. We were too busy being lazy. :)

Here is a panoramic of the resort:

Thats when I decided I wanted my own cat. When we sailed a Wave at a resort on Playa Del Carmen MX. Had never been on one before.

I need a jib to not only go faster but to keep her busy... she gets worried about other people near us when I'm sailing. She's obviously never seen a a race.

Resort boats are almost always in need of parts and don't sail well...they look good in the brochure and that is about it, that being said it is still better then not sailing and there is no snow! Jamaica is wonderful!
Have fun.
