Looks like I'll be able to get back on my boat... in mid-November. Good thing I have a wetsuit!

You people gloating about the good September weather make me want to cry. On the other hand, it IS getting nice here. You don't sweat just standing around at night anymore.

Avast indeed!

Yep, the September weather has been fantastic Jaime, but here in the Finger Lakes we are running short on daylight and very cool in the evenings. Thank goodness for wetsuits and deep lakes that stay relatively warm late into the fall.

Anyway, we will be put up for winter come November and you'll still be cruising in TX - if that's where you're coming back to.

Get home safely that's all dude 8)

There is the Doha sailing club and I was hoping to visit there but unfortunately I work nights here; so during the daytime I'm sleeping. Makes it difficult to drive for an hour and do daytime activities elsewhere and then drive back here only to have to work that night. :?

Still, just a few more weeks now. :)

Thanks for the invite though! :D

I don't have weekends. :( Although this is my night off. After I eat I'm going to go sit and read a Forbes magazine and then start on the very large volume "The Political Writings of John Adams." Then, before the sun comes up, I will go run a couple of miles, read a bit more, eat, and go to bed about 8AM.

Sure do wish I could get down to Oman for some sailing though!
