I made some of these. Work GREAT on soft and hard sand. Not to good on uneven ground. VERY light, just put on hulls and tie to trailer. 8) 8)

Apparently Doug really likes these beach wheels. They look to be a good alternative to production beach wheels as long as the ground is not rough. I can still say that my Cat Trax are worth the money and only took about 10 minutes to assemble.

Where did you find the aluminum pole, I've been looking for a while for one.

Go to a electrical wholesale supple store. One friend went to his Home Depot. Yous should be able to get the connectors there too.

Good luck and let me know.

You can order the materials from either http://www.McMaster.com or http://www.mscdirect.com

These are industrial suppliers. I would definitly avoid galvanized conduit if you are going to be in salt water. Go for an anodized aluminum.

Yes and it is VERY light. That is what make them so nice. And you save a LOT is you don't have uneven ground with these wheels. :D

Good Luck and hope this helped?
