I had quite a big soft spot just in front of the front crossbar on one of my 18 hulls...so I decided to give the fix suggested in the FAQ section a try...unfortunately it did not work...the resin did not flow to the outer breather holes...and the delamination was not wixed....I have cut of the top layer now..and removed the foam...to fill it with fiber cloth and resin...any advice would be great thanks

What type of epoxy system did you use?, west system etc,? Did the epoxy KICK too soon to flow out of the breather holes? did you dry out your hulls first? What result did you get?

The delam fix does depend on a few things. The correct resin, resin that does not cure to quickly, drilling within the delamination, drilling through the delamination and not the bottom layer of glass.

I would be interested to hear where the resin did go and what resin was used.
