Not all colors are available.... certainly no brown. That was awhile back.

Mix from current and recent colors. Check with a dealer. They can determine currently available cloth. All H16 cloth is 6 oz. these days.

Looks like the following is in stock (Not all in good quantity):

BARBERRY
CORAL
CRANBERRY
RED
DK RED
LIME
MAGENTA

Looks like white is your only option because you know, coronado is out of the question!!

What does this Coronado look like?

I can't for the life of me find a picture of Coronado sails. Can someone please post a picture?

The sail on the right is a Coronado. One of my favorites.

I once saw a picture of a Coronado that had a custom jib with stripes that matched the ones on the main. I really thought it looked great. Hobie will do custom work for a fee.

My buddy has a new set of Coronados on his H16. They look even better in person than they do in the pictures.

I like some of the European options...

Like these: Image

And these: Image

Now that Hobie has merged with Hobie Europe, I wonder if we'll be able to order these via special order?

MMiller posted before that the European sails are not as good as the US sails. At least I think it was Matt.

Sure Coronado sails are fine looking sails...trouble with them is that there are aready too many too manhy boats at my lake with coronados because that's the only really colorful option that's been offered for YEARS...just got my new catalog and was bummed that yet again we have been given the same old same old.

Would not have been me. The sails they use in Europe as of Asian origin and good quality, just not quite the same build we do here in the US.

So how is "Not as good" and "Just not quite the same build" different. Maybe I misinterpreted your meaning, but that was basically what you had said I believe.

What are the differences. But hey, we all know "Made in USA" is always the best!

So are the european sails available to us....and what price????????? and would they then be class legal for racing anyway..???? It would perhaps solve the issue of having so little choice in sail colors in the catalogs we receive here.

Hahah, I love it. Next I can see you guys going to your local Ford dealer and telling them you want to buy a new Ford Fusion imported from Europe. They'll look at you sideways like you're from Pluto or something.

Matt just provided you a color pallet with 13 different fabric color choices and you want to get something from overseas? Wow.

You can't order that red/white sail shown above just by choosing panel colors. Vertical panels, curves, etc... if someone has designed and built it, I can see wanting the option of buying it.
