I bought a Hobie Convertible Harness the other day. size XL it fits except for the neoprene wrap around the leg straps is too tight. the strap itself has plenty of adjustment left on it, but the neoprene which is not adjustable is too tight around my legs. I was thinking about just cutting the neoprene.

My question is - how tight do the straps around your legs need to be when using the harness? if they are too loose, will it be even more uncomfortable?
