It is that time of the year Spring and Summer await

now is the time to plan trips, buy parts and fix stuff on the Hobie and trailer. In the past I have waited until the day before a trip and was frantic in trying to get things ready. Check the rigging, check the wires because they do not last forever and the old ones are great to have in the Hobie hell box for emergency repairs new wires are fairly cheap. I replace rudder cams often and again throw them in with the spare parts. When is the last time you washed compounded and waxed your Hobie? I plan on getting the Hobie 21 SE and the Hobie 16 out of the backyard and start on the trailer bearings and checking all the bolts Do not forget to check the trailer coupling it does adjust
My 21SE still looks great after 2 years using Poli Glow on the hulls and the Comp tip The comp tip still looks like a black Corvette finish I only wish they had it in Hobie size insatead of huge power boat size
