I went sailing Saturday and met this kid who had recently acquired this cat.
Id like to be able to give him more info. It has a Hobie 14 rig. Also the rudders have no way of locking down other than the pressure on the one bolt attaching them to the casting. It does not go that fast so the rudders don't kick up but there a pain to get down while sailing.

Any info appreciated.

I had one of those sails on my first 14. It was number 86. I think they were made by Vector.

It was a faster sail than the early McKibbens and I used it on several subsequent boats with great success. It finally just fell apart, but it was fast in its day.
