I am thinking of replacing my hiking stick with the Ronstan Battlestick and would like to get some opinions on it before I lay out the money. I really like the urethane universal joint and was wondering if anyone has used one. I don't race so being class legal is not an issue.

They're light, don't put a load on it though. Plenty strong for a tiller extension, but not made for anything else like supporting your weight coming in off the wire.

The rubber joint is nice and slop free unlike a yoke.
