Mine is an old broken, Ampro carbon mast. I made an aluminum block that bolts around the dolphin striker and using a universal windsurfer foot for the attachment. Specse has pictures of it on a old thread in the 21 forum. I made it so long ago that I didn't remember making it, until I asked another 21 sailor friend, and he reminded me. I epoxied a couple of plastic fairleads on top, reinforced the end with glass cloth and epoxy, and bolted a fairlead through that. The bridle lines wrap all the way around the reinforced end and through the tack block on the end of the pole, so the pole really only holds it out to the front. It's about a foot longer than the stock pole, which makes it easier to pull the sail through during a jibe.
