I had a Hobie 10 (monohull) back in the day. As with these boats, the hull got waterlogged and weighted a ton, so I tossed it.

I kept the sail, mast & boom and have always wanted to find a hull to use them on. I just saw a '92 Hobie Holder 12 hull for sale.

Does anyone know if the Hobie 10 mast/sail/boom would work on it?

Thanks.

Joe

I have a Hobie Holder 10 and recently got a Hobie Holder 12. The mast on the 12 is about twice the diameter. You would need to make an adapter insert to get the H10 mast to work on the H12. I think the 1 piece tapered H10 mast is nicer than the 2 piece H12 mast.

Jalamajohn - Any chance you can send me the dimensions of the mast and boom of the Hobie Holder 12?

It would probably work great on a puddle duck racer!
