Got my small boat sailing badge in the scouts, sailed small in the carib, I want to sail from home. and I mean from home. I live on the west side of brooklyn, 1 block away from the waterfront. 69th street pier to be exact. I'd pick up a fibreglass hull, but taking it down the street and launching would be a pain. Does anyone have experience with any of the inflatable hull cats? are they and good? any distributors in the states?

ideally I want to stow the thing in my garage, cart it to the water, set it up, and go.any insights would be appreciated.

Look into the adventure island, you can pull it on a cart and it folds up pretty well. Inflatables performance sucks. The adventure island also can be paddled (by hand or feet).
