"Extreme" is overused but these scenes have a few pucker worthy moments... 1:17 & 2:51 mins for example plus lots of potential pitch pole situations. Some conspicuous Hobie make an appearance too. 8)

OceanX, my comment was about the weather conditions, not the race itself. And no, I have not participated in the race, but I have sailed quite a bit in high wind conditions (Coulmbia Gorge & Wallula Gap), some rather extreme (3 flips in 1 hour, speeds up to 26 knots). While the weather appeared to be brisk and exciting with potential for good speed and possible carnage, IMO it falls short of EXTREME. Just a matter of degree. :wink:
