Could some please share how they fly their flags on a Hobie? Do you fly it from the sail? Or from the spreader? I sail a H-18.

Also, what size do you fly? The 3'x5' or smaller 12"x18"?

Thanks for the info.

Pics would help...

I have a 2by4, and I tie it to the battens

run a line between two grommets on adjacent battens of your choice, attach your flag to the line with flag clips or tie off.

if flying the US Ensign, remember to remove it when racing. (bad flag etiquette)

Thanks. I will try the "line between battens" trick and see how it works.

I have my club burgee on my forestay just above the bridle, so it can act as a wind indicator also.

But that won't work with a jib.

Next year, I'll be the Commodore; so I need to get a Commodore's burgee to fly with it!
