Hi,

bought my first cat a couple of weeks ago, really like it! Much better than keelboats!

Have start to consider to take part in the worlds for HC16. Of course Im not good enough to fight for the gold, but think it still will be a nice experience! Just a question, if me and my crew do not reach up to 285 lbs, what to do? Should we have extra french fries, or could we wear some additional weight?

Thanks in advance.

If you're going to go to the worlds, you better get familiar with the class rules. There are specific rules for carrying weight- how much you can carry and how it needs to be carried.

Yes you can carry weight (attached to the boat, not you). Good luck at the worlds! (see, positive thoughts!)
