From our old buddy Dave at sailingtexas

Since deer season is open I thought you "killers" out there would get a charge out of the beginning of this video.

Once again, an outstanding post by JE. I am going to post this to the local Boy Scout Council site on under skills -

What's up with all the Bambis :?: They look delicious... umm I mean cute, yeah, cute :)

The deer were just hanging out that day, they're hams and like to get their picture taken. If you watch when I tie the knot on the table you can see where one of the bucks got his horns hooked on the line and yanked on it.

Yeah we cracked up when the line was yanked -

BTW I showed the vid to two new Scouts (11 yr old) who couldn't seem to tie a bowline for all the tea in China - they just didn't get it even though I was telling them EXACTLY what you told them. They had it immediately after watching your vid. Kids seemed conditioned to ignore adults unless they're on the tube. HMMM maybe I'll becomes a "virtual Scoutmaster"  Lord knows I'd be warmer when the kids go winter camping and I send a computer screen.

Thanks,

It is very hard to keep the wild deers attention, I think they have ADD.

Now where do I get boat shoes for them?

Thanks,
David
