Passed over this post initially without opening on the basis of 'I don't need another waterproof camera' but my daughter just excitedly asked whether I had seen the Lily camera so I had a look. Wow! Gets over the problem of doing something active on the water like sailing and controlling a flying camera at the same time. And gives a whole new dimension to the 'selfie'. Thanks for the link. |

There are two other similar devices already on the market and in use. AirDog is one, although you have to provide the camera. Although it works the same way - following a tracking device which you program for height, distance, etc. It doesn't seem to have much trouble working in a breeze, although I'm sure at some point it would be overcome, as would any small drone. |

Lily Camera is waterproof & it can float. |
