In an earlier post someone asked me the question if there were not Hobies in my area because I was looking at different types of cats.

The answer at this time is YES.

I have looked everywhere that I can on the net, spoke to the local fleets, and sailboat shops and there are currently slim choices in my area. I have even started to come to the realization that I may have to travel a few hours to go and get one.

I am not looking for the next stars and stripes, I am just looking for a well kept H16 from the early to mid 80's. I have found a quality hobie 16 in Houston, the only downfall is that it is 17 hours away. I am willing to pay a little extra if it is in great condition.

If anyone knows of a boat in great condition near California or Arizona please let know!

I know this is in the wrong section but I have posted in the "For Sale" section with no response.
Thanks for everyone's help in advance.
Mike

Hey Mike,
Do you know about the beachcats website? You can find it at www.thebeachcats.com. You can join the site for free and they have a great classified section. If you haven't looked there I would recommend it. People are constantly posting classified ads. It's really a pretty cool open design cat website. Buy the way, I think you made a good choice with the H16. Good luck finding your boat.

Jeremy,
For a good boat I will pay $1,500. Do you know of any available?
