I have a Hobie Magnum and the mast seems to sit about 1/16 or 1/8 lower than it should so that the mast step pin will pass cleanly through the hole in the hinge. Could I be missing a plastic washer that would raise the mast base hinge enough to get the pin through?

Yes, there is a washer that is supposed to be under the mast step ball.

Thanks,
