Hi all,

I am a former dedicated H 16 racer that has been inactive for 15 years. I have picked up a beautiful and well cared for (race tuned) H-16 and am looking to become active again (formerly New England Fleet #28).
I used to own a set of beach wheels (not cat trax) that were made in Bradenton Fla.. They were separate wheels with a frame contoured to the H - 16 hull at midships. Does anyone know if they are still available for purchase. They worked very well and were less cumbersome that than the Trax.

Thanks for any response.

Geoff

You mean these?:

They were about half the cost of Cat-Trax at the time, but having owned both, the Cat-Trax is far superior.

The Cat Trans had a nasty habit of slipping sideways under the boat, and the tubes on the inner part would put a hole in your hull.

I sold mine with my second boat in 1984. They haven't been made in a very, very long time.

Thanks so much for the reply. I suspected they weren't made anymore.
