Hello all, I am trying to get people in the inland Empire together to hopefully start a fleet or take over a dormant one. I have posted a add on craigslist and found 4 people and one person that has about 4-5 boats in his group. not all are necessary wanting to race (yet), but i am hoping to locate some more of you out there. We are doing our first group sail tomorrow and are looking forward to finding more people. Congratulations! Great job getting folks together, it's awesome to see interest in the sport happening in SoCal. I'll keep my eye's out on your FB page for get togethers, maybe you'd consider bringing the fleet out to Lake Isabella for an event sometime, we have great sailing here on decent sized lake, free camping on the beach and it's not too far for most coming out of LA. I could round up some local boats to join in the fun, we have a small community of sailors here. |
