Could someone please post the center to center dimension (front to back) of the pylons on a Hobie 16. Can't seem to find that spec anywhere. I know 16's are a couple inches wider side to side than a 14 but am not sure about the front to back measurement. I have a spare 14 less hulls and was wondering if one could put 16 hulls on a 14. Might be a crazy idea, but 16 hulls are cheap around here and 14's are next to impossible to find. The extra set up I have is 14 Turbo so it wouldn't be a total slug.

The sidebars would be the difference in length.

H14 70 3/4"

H16 80 3/8

Thanks. So it looks like I would need to find a Hobie 16 frame also and do a tramp or have a wide back tramp piece made. Might not be worth the hassle. Was a bit of a wild idea as I knew the width was only a few inches different. 10 inches is a pretty big chunk on length. My first Hobie was a standard 14, I did sail a Turbo a few times and they are better....16 is a far better boat for 2+ people, but I plan to solo some of the times and though I solo'd my 16 quite a bit there was always a bunch of folks around if I got too stupid. A 14 I can still get back up myself. Not so with a 16. Thanks for the info.
