We're going to Las Vegas to pick up a new/used Prindle 16 and sail Lake Mead for a couple of days. At night of course we'll have to indulge in various morally questionable activities. Has anyone sailed there and know of any "friendly" sandy beaches? Any other hints for a newbie on the Lake?

Thanks!!!!

Stan

Hey Stan,
Look up Hobie fleet 51 while you're out there in Vegas. There are some great people out there. They'll try to get you on a Hobie though:)

It's okay, I usually fly a H-16 myself. I'm picking this up for a friend since me and the family were going to Vegas to sail.

I'll try to get a hold of someone from Fleet 51.... is that like Area 51?
Alien boats and all.

Leaving tomorrow early. I'll try them tonight.

Stan
