I finally got a hooter for my H21SE and would like to rig it on a roller furler. It's a 19' foot Calvert. Any idea of how to calculate how big of a drum to use. Obviously using the smallest line possible helps (crew's hands are tender). My original Hobie jib furler has been bullet proof and they are fairly reasonable pricewise. Any tips on checking the fit before I get a drum I can't use?
HMMMM. I just thought about it. Replace my jib with the hooter on my jib furler and see how it goes.
