Open regatta, but should be lots of cats there, July 16 17 at Ninnescah sailing Assoc facilities on Cheney lake. 30 mi west of Wichita.

Event
CSSA sanctioned, open regatta. Two days, five races scheduled, one race makes a regatta.
Fleets
All classes of sailboats welcome. Four or more one-designs make a fleet. All others will sail to Portsmouth handicap.
Location
Ninnescah Sailing Association (NSA), Cheney Reservoir, 30 miles west of Wichita, KS.
Directions from Wichita: Drive west 25 miles on highway US 54, turn north (right) on highway 251 and drive 3.4 miles to 21st St. Turn west (left) on 21st St. and drive 3.4 miles to Cheney State Park entrance, turn north (right) and follow the regatta signs to the NSA at Sailboat Cove (west shore).
Fees
State Park Permits (required)
Daily park permits $5/vehicle/day
Camping permits $8/night/unit

Regatta Entry Fees
Adult Entrants $25.00/skipper
Crew Members $5.00 each ($15 max)
Youth Entrants $5.00/boat/skipper
Youth Crew Free
Dinner $2 (children under 12); $5 Adults
(Fee for NSA Guests only; NSA members please participate in the Progressive Dinner)
Extras
Cold refreshments and snacks after races.

Facilities
Afterdeck Clubhouse, camping sites, electrical hookups, sandy beaches, restrooms, hot showers, boat ramps, free crane with mast raising device and guest docks. The State Park also has a few cabins for rent; for cabin reservations or camping information please call the Cheney State Park Office at (316) 542-3664.

Trophies
Trophies awarded in each fleet, one trophy per four boats (four boats = 1 trophy, eight boats = 2 trophies, etc.).
Rules
The regatta shall be governed by the 2013-2016 International Sailing Federation (ISAF), Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS), the prescription of the United States Sailing Association (US Sailing), and local appendixes. The regatta is designated Category B of Appendix G. A boat entering as a member of a one-design class shall conform to class rules.
