Ninnescah Sailing Association will be hosting a open regatta July 15 - 16 at Cheney reservoir, near Wichita Kansas.
This is a open regatta but lots of hobies attend.

White Cap Regatta
Saturday July 15th & Sunday July 16th
CSSA Sanctioned Open Regatta. Two days of Racing with five scheduled races. One race makes a regatta
All classes of boats are welcome. Four or more boats will constitute a fleet. All other boats will race in Portsmouth handicapped fleets.
Ninnescah Sailing Association facilities located on Cheney reservoir 30 miles West of Wichita Ks.
Park Fees:
State Park permits will be required
Daily park Pass $5.00/vehicle/day
Various camping options are available
Regatta Fees:
Boat and Skipper $40.00
Additional Crew $10.00
Youth Entrants (under 18) $20.00
Additional Crew (under 18) $ 5.00
Light lunches will be provided on race day
Dinner Saturday night $8.00 Adults
$5.00 Youth (under 12)
Trophies will be awarded for each fleet of four or more.
The Ninnescah Clubhouse is a great location for gathering before and after the race. We have restrooms, hot showers, crane, mast raising device, guest docks with electrical hookups, sandy beach.
The park also has lots of camping arrangements with electric and water. Additionally there are a number of cabins for rent.

Breakfast 7:00 am
Harbor Gun 8:20 am
Start of fourth race 9:00 am
No additional races to start after 12:00
The regatta shall be governed by the 2017-2020 International Sailing Federation (ISAF), Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS), the prescription of the United States Sailing Association (US Sailing), and local appendixes. The regatta is designated Category B of Appendix G. A boat entering as a member of a one-design class shall conform to class rules.
