Matt,

I just found a link to the model year.

At this age a Wave would need rigging, tramp and a few lines? Asking price is $1000. I have not seen the boat but it was described as the basic Wave and not the Club version.

Thoughts?

Thanks

Not likely needing a tramp. Wires & lines depend on how it was used / stored.

Hey T-bone, (I am assuming this is NOT T-bone Demaline)

That's an excellent price on a used Wave, considering they are next to impossible to find. My advise is run out and buy it. Than spend some bucks (most likely it won't be a lot) and time getting it dialed in. Than come to Syracuse, in May to race it at the MADACTTER!

We are really pushing hard to have a big Wave class this year. Have you ever been to a regatta? It's a blast, especially this one. There are special clinics for beginners on how to race, in between the parties. The weather is usual really cold but that never stops us from a havin a SUPER time. Come on out, just a short drive from Buffalo.

So the images look decent. But since the boat is 7 hours from me, is $1000 bucks a good price for a 1995 Wave? The boat could use a good cleaning but otherwise it appears all there. No dings in the rudders.

This is the standard version Wave and one image shows the tramp sagging. Is there a method to tighten the tramp seeing there is no lacing? I looked at the assembly manual but I can't figure out if this is possible.

I'm on the fence. I need someone to either push me off the fence and I'll go get it or I'll pull the plug on this one and keep looking.
