Hello,

I've got a small fleet of hobie getaways at the hotel i work for. Recently i've had a few unfortunate breaks with the boats. I've got a perfectly fine mast top, and a fine bottom half as well. both are from the same year hobie and fit together quite nicely. When i took the masts apart to dispose of the cracked/broken pieces i had to drill out a few rivets and sand out some kind of glue. My only issue with putting the two pieces back together is in the glue. It was just a clear appoxy-like glue. I'm just not entirely sure what type of glue to use in the re-build. ive got both appoxy and 5200- marine glue. Any ideas on what i should use?

thanks,
-chris- the charter club.

Use an epoxy. 2 part west system works well.
