Hi! I just picked up my first Hobie kayak today. I will be fishing offshore in San Diego. I tested a Revo and the PA and was really impressed by the PA. Now I get to have some fun transfering my FF and Bait tank to the new ride! I will post some photos when I have it dialed in.

Thanks

Steve

I picked mine up today too. Sort of. Dang. This set up is what I used to haul two Outbacks when pulling the 5'er. On this trip wife won't be needing hers so I'll just cram this up there and make do. I'm going to look for help getting it down and back up again. Look out Central Michigan, here I come............

What's bringing you to central Michigan, Yakkingaway? I hope the weather allows for good outings and you and have a safe trip!

Annual trek. Family. Will be at Coldwater Lake. West of Mt Pleasant, little north. Weidman is close too. Beale City. Think it's a county park. Coldwater Family Park or something like that.
That's the name, just looked at the reservations.

Yakkingaway;
Send me an email if you wish to hit either of the lakes you mention, I'm about 11 miles from Mt Pleasant and actually work in Mt Pleasant.

I took my pro angler out to La Jolla yeaterday for the first time. I fished twice as much fishing ground with the pro angler than my previous kayak. I did not want to get out of the thing. Here are some photo's of the PA with all my gear on it. I installed a wet mount for the FF transducerand the sensitivity increased 85%. I previously had the transducer siliconed to the hull of my last kayak.

Great job Hobie - I love this boat/Kayak

Cbull I sent you an e-mail...... hopefully. This is almost primitive camping as far as phone/web connectivity.

can you explain a little more about how to install the "Wet Mount" transducer?
Thanks and good fishing!
