I spent a few minutes searching and did not see a clear answer to the following:

I have a 2010 Mirage Oasis Tandem which we love. We are thinking of getting the sail kit. But when I look at this board I see numerous posts about modifying the sail, rigging, pullies, blocks and improving performance etc...We have no interest in that now (subject to change once we figure out what we are doing -- new to sailing). My question is will I be able to pull the sail out of the box, install it as is (without buying new parts or modifying the kayak) and sail or are some of these modifications necessary at the start. Is there a link that I missed to some video showing you how to rig the standard sail sold by Hobie? Thanks for your help in advance.

The sail kit works 'out of the box', but all the mod's you see can make it so much more pleasant.

Yes they will work (and well) right out of the box. This is our third day with them.
