Took the kid out in my P.A. to do battle with some bruiser bluefish. The P.A. provided a comfy fishing platform for us both. She sat in the back on a 2" thick square boat cushion. It was a blast!

What a great picture! Thanks for sharing. That fish is almost as big as she is! She looks like she won the lottery with that smile. That's a memory that will last a lifetime.

I bought a kayak seat that I clip onto the back deck of my PA and I've taken my son and daughter out on separate trips. They were more interested in putting their feet in the water than catching fish, but they were just great times to be together. I have two other daughters that I still need to get on the water and I'm hoping to get one of them out this weekend. I can't wait!

Thanks, guys, for the kind words. I had offered to my kid to get a rear seat for the P.A. buit she did'nt want one. She likes to be able to swivel 360'. -Makes it easier to get both feet in the water and create as much drag as possible. Dad need his exercise!

Great stuff, I know she's remember that forever. I've recently added a front folding stadium seat to my PA, so I can fish with both my 7 yr olds. It all works great and I'm no longer staying home because I cannot take out both kids. Back support on both those seats is crucial, especially in waves.

Awesome! Did she still put her feet in the water after she saw how big those choppers were? :) My little one is a little over two. I will be very happy when she is old enough to ride on the stern of my PA.

damfisher, great pictures and a huge smile! is she bugging you to go again soon? curious how the PA handled with her weight sitting in the back, is she around 60 lbs.? I have never carried any weight in the back of my PA......in a few short years you will have to get her a PA of her own! :D
