My 18SX mast comptip is busted... overall mast length is 29'6"... same as a Tiger I think.

Any thoughts on just getting a tiger mast?

Maybe lots easier than removing remains of comptip stub... and probably a lighter mast than the H18SX's 50lbs.

Thoughts ? Ocean Springs, MS if you're close I'll come get it!

It's doable but there are a couple of modifications you'll need to consider...first is the dolphin striker/mast ball. This is different than what is on a Hobie 18. Second is shroud/forestay lenghts...might not be the same. May need to buy a set of Tiger rigging. Not sure if the spreaders will interfere with the shrouds...the H18 is narrower in beam than a Tiger. These are just some things to think about. Good luck.
