does anyone have an idea at what angle of sail does the 18 go to weather?

41.7 degrees. :wink: Just kidding, it's all kind of relative to what speed you want to carry. I dont think there is any documented testing of VMG as it relates to angles upwind for any catamaran. Symetrical hulled boats with daggerboard boats are thought to point a little higher than assymetric hulls, but I dont know that for a fact.

Have you been debating with monohull sailors? :roll:
