I like to get the most use out of my kit and the Amas would also be suitable for using on my Scanoe give more stability. The Coleman Scanoe is basically an open canoe, which has a rear transom and looks like a skinny Bass Boat.

I want to make some pontoons for it, and then figured that the Amas would be perfect, if I could think of a way to fix them.

Any ideas? Wood / Metal / Plastic. I'll try and post a photo of a Scanoe to give you an idea.

Thanks.

You can put wooden cross members in your scanoe. Get two aft cross bars and a second set of Aka braces. Mount the cross bars to the wooden inserts. Find someone with a plumbers pipe bender and bend the second set of braces to the depth you want.... since I guess the Amas will not sit level in the water unless you cut a hole in your hull.
