Three of us had a great day sailing and peddling at Lake Tyres recently up venturing up one of the rivers and when I took a bit of footage and some snaps.
I am always keen to see where others around the world are enjoying their Hobies and so I have just now put together a video and posted it on Youtube so other interested 'Islanders' can see where we use our craft. Hope you enjoy.....Pirate

Thanks for that mate. What a great video and spot. It just shows that sometimes you don't need wind to have a good day. Mickey grin is always big, but has probably grown in proportion to the AI to TI up sizing.

Pirate mate - another nice little video of our local waterways and recent outings. :D If you keep this up you might tempt some of our international mates to come on over and take a look themselves :D :D
I think our friends from Sydney area should come and have a look too - however they might have missed the boat for the time being as it's starting to get a bit on the cool side

I'd love to come down mate. Especially after seeing some of your videos. With a few stop offs on the way. Jervis Bay again, Narooma's Montague Island etc. I upgraded AI's so that I had the confidence in the boat to do 'The Ditch'. Perhaps we should start some planning. What do you both think ?

From ChrisJ on another thread:

Pirate, an ACT/VIC/NSW hookup at Narooma or Bateman's Bay is a great idea. Unfortunately, my wife is undergoing some intensive medical therapy for the next couple of months and I don't want to leave her alone for an entire weekend.

Good prioritising Chris, and I too am getting close to a trip to USA followed by an Alaskan Cruise up to and beyond Anchorage that I am looking forward to. We will get together though...Pirate

I would dearly love to but alas, straight to and fro Alaska via LA and Vancouver.
I was talking to Mickey just the other day trying to lock him down to a joint trip over to your wonderful Islands and I am confident we will get around to that one but probably next year now. However Ralph who is a dear friend of mine is doing the same trip I am doing but in reverse as he could not get passage onboard on my trip and has organised a week long stop-off in Hawaii on his way home...lucky bugger.
He is the guy that I sold my red AI to and one who appeared in my recent 'Mickey & Minnie' video with leggings that would pass for spiderman's legs...LOL...He would be initially in Honolulu I suggest. Shall I get him to make contact with you??...Pirate

Spoke to Spiderman(Ralph) who will contact you Bob via your website. Here he is enjoying his toy with his grandkids, and the red AI seems to be enjoying its new owner just fine.
