I recently ordered a Hobie Cat tramp... but it came in a two piece instead of the original one piece that I just took off.

Who has what kind and why?

Thanks,

Brian

It almost looks like a standard tramp... but with grommets all down the right side? Photos shortly... and a few measurements.

As far as I know, all Factory Hobie 20 trampolines were one piece.
I remember seeing once an aftermarket Hobie 20 trampoline with a side lacing.

From me. I got it from the factory about 2 years ago. The bag was marked Hobie 20, so I didn't inspect it. I think that it may be a H21 tramp. We'll see when we get pics.

You got it, Ted. Let me figure what I sold 555, and you have dibs if it is a 21 tramp. It's a big mystery right now.

Pretty sure I've seen pics of 21 SC tramps with a side lacing.

Remember that 21SE and 21SC tramps are not the same at all.

Yes, the 21SC tramp has side lacing.

Copy. Pretty sure that this is a 21SC Tramp. Need pics to confirm.

I looked at it again today, measured it and compared it to the old tramp... it looks like a bona-fide H-20 tramp in size and shape, but with grommets all down the right side. A Hobie factory experiment perhaps?

It is definitely not a H-21 tramp, too small, and it is the same size as the H-20 tramp I took off.

Very strange.... I sent Jeremy photos, I guess you cannot post photos here? Try this, I uploaded them on facebook: http://www.facebook.com/#!/photo.php?fb ... =1&theater

You can't post photos directly - they have to be hosted somewhere else, then post the URL inside image tags here.

And your FB page says "content not available" - security settings locked down?

Thanks Jeramy, I'll give you a call.

I think it was a secret Hobie Factory experiment and the 15 gromets along the right side were for the 15 bungies for the 15 trap lines for a one way speed record attempt...
