Just came back from a 4 day, 3 night trip on the AI. Primitive camping each night, it was awesome! Except the seat. The bottom pad would scrunch up and it was hard to move the back up or down since it's attached to the seat. When I got back, I looked at it carefully to see if there was anything I could do about it and noticed that the bottom pad could be removed from the backrest. Much better! But, the bottom pad still moved around on its own and the pegs that were supposed to hold it in place have always had a tendency to pop out. So, I removed the pegs and put velcro strips from Home Depot on the pad and the boat. Seemed to solve the problem but next time I go out, I'll see how it works.

kro--are you using the "new" expandible seat pegs?

They work quite well at holding your seat, boat seat, that is.
