Hello,

I've recently purchased a 1999 H16, and I wonder if anyone can point me to instructions as to how to correctly rig the jib.

At the moment there is a block at the end of the jib halyard that cleats to the top of the jib , and one attached to the mast. But a friend tells me that the blocks should be in line with the mast, not the forestay on which the jib is run....

Anyone know where I can find a picture or diagram?

You shackle the block to the top of the jib sail, the bottom in shackled to the forstay adjuster and the blocks are attached to the clew. The halyard runs from the pull at the tang down to the cheek block on the mast and to the cleat.

Thanks,

Thanks :D

Then it seems to be correctly rigged.
