How the @#$%& do you remove the RAM plates on the PA?!?!?!?

I just tried to remove the port RAM plate and found that the two forward screws turn but do not loosen. At first I freaked, thinking that the female thread anchors had stripped out of the plastic. But after removing the front hatch pan and feeling around, I found that the two forward screws are bolted thru the hull and secured from the underside with washers and nuts. They're not easy/impossible to get to with the rod tubes in the way.

I assume I'll need to remove the rod tube assy to get to access the nuts to remove the RAM plate - which in itself will not be easy as the upper left rod tube assy screw is very close to the underside of the RAM plate so you can't get a straight shot at it with a screw driver. Before I go to the trouble of removing the rod tube assy I thought I'd ask all you PA experts to share your collective wisdom on this.

Thanks in advance,

Bob

If you are trying to remove the mounting boards than yes you need to remove the rod tubes first.
