I do exactly what you are talking about with an AI, and a Revolution. The Pro Angler is a HEAVY boat though. Watch your roof rack rating, (probably only about 100 lbs) and use bow and stern lines on both boats. If some piece of the rack, or straps fail, the bow and stern lines will keep your boat on the roof. Don't try this with your factory cross bars either, they're not rated to hold much weight. I use Yakima bars, but Thule or Yakima are both good brands.

I am leaning now towards the single Trailex trailer from Hobie while using my Thule rack for the other two kayaks I have. That would give me a lot of transport flexibility and avoid lifting that heavy PA.
