I just aquired a 1978 Hobie 16. Something moves around inside the hulls whenever I flip them around (I have the boat in pieces right now.) I think it is blocks of foam that are moving around. Is this anything to be concerned about?

Thanks

Every Hobie 16 (all the glass cats) has positive floatation (foam blocks) inside the hulls. Since the boat doesn't normally roll around much, they aren't glued in place. They are dropped into the hulls, between the pylons, before the decks are glued on.
