Hi Folks,
Can anyone share locations to launch kayaks and park their cars for saltwater fishing at the Jersey shore?
Anywhere from Raritain Bay to Seaside Park would be appreciated. :?:

Hi bek7200,

New here and to kayaking this year. Me and my wife are really enjoying our 2011 Migage Oasis tandem. Fishing from it is next now that we're very comfortable with it, and it really moves!

There is a free launch right in Pt Pleasant Beach. right on Broadway from RT. 35. Just cross the railroad tracks and make an almost immediate left in to a small park close to the party boats.

If you have a 4X4 you can launch right on the inlet beaches in Brigantine. Only thing is you need to get a permit which is $175 but it is good for a year. Great spot you can enjoy a day at the beach at the same time ! Lots of folks go there with families and the kids can enjoy the beach while pops fish !

South Amboy boat ramp at the mouth of the Raritan River/Bay. The boat ramp is free. Many kayakers launch from here.
Only downfall is it is impossible at low tide.

This is a pretty good site for launch area's

http://home.comcast.net/~wwrivrrat/padzone.htm

I'm over in Long Branch, so I just launch from the beach, or go up to the highlands, or whats ever left of it after Sandy had her way with the town.
