I am always trying to find a good place to put a soda can. I normally use the rope handle on my 18's dagger board, it loosely keeps it from moving. I want something better for guests. I don't want to cut a hole in the tramp.

What have you guys done to keep drinks from spilling? I know I could use a bottle with a top, but somehow I always end up with cans of soda and beer on board.

Also I found this catamaran that looks pretty fun to sail.

My tramp has large pockets that I use, that and a soft cooler I tie onto the tramp just under the mast. Trash goes back in it as drinks come out.

I knew I should have bought a bag cooler the other day when I saw a place selling them!!

Right now, I just fill a metal water bottle up and carabiner it to the center lacing.... I had my first beer while sailing the cat a few weeks ago, but I got off at a swimming hole and just tread water next to the boat and drank while hanging out with some power boat friends who had full coolers!

I also am looking for a way to hold an open can while sailing. I already have a way of strapping my cooler in the front part of the wing to hold the full ones. I am thinking a gimbal drink holder clamped to the wing, anyong got a suggestion?

If you put 5" ports in the hulls you can use a cool product I found, 'bottle port'. They are really slick, keeping a beverage close at hand and easily accessed. they fit into polypropylene port rings (ABS ports for some reason are slightly different in dimensions).
