I'm planning on remounting my set of SX wings this fall, and I have a few questions:
1) I need to get my hands on a pair of the rear struts, part 68160001. I'm not seeing them in the price list at the back of the Hobie catalog- do they not sell these anymore?
2) What's included in the "SX Wings Parts Kit" (68060101)? its listed as "EVERYTHING EXCEPT WINGS, TRAMPS, LINES AND EXTENSION" - based on the price, I assume they mean all the mounting hardware (and leg end castings?), but not the legs or the other castings. Is the kit for one side or both?

Thanks,
Steve

Wing parts kit would be all the installation hardware. Not the end castings.

The strut is no longer available. That is simply a short rod of aluminum stock. You can get that from home depot.

... and make sure you use that strut or you will eventually break the welds on your wings... ask me how I know!

Thanks Matt. Is the kit for both sides, or do I need 1 kit per wing?

Does anyone know what the dimensions (length, diameter, wall thickness) or the strut are?

NAHCA555, I'll keep that in mind. I think the P.O. found that one out the hard way as well, as one of my legs has been welded back together! (I know, welding ruins the heat treatment of the Aluminum, its on my to-fix list, just not this time)

The kit is complete... full wing set. Includes the struts.

The strut is 12.125" long. 1/2" solid stock. 6061-T6
