I ended up buying used Adventure and found mirage drive both posts inside were broken off from bottom. I noticed when I dropped mirage into hole and started pedal felt drive was tilted. It was ok and used for 2 hours in open water in Gulf about 1/2mile out and checked inside water no leak during pedaling. No leak found and came back home washed whole kayak inside out and found inside posts were separated from bottom..
Because these posts were almost independent from hull even stress points were there.
I thought I could repair or even make stronger the connection.
Long day and story short,,,, I found plastic welding epoxy, 3500psi. I sanded area inside--a little time consuming,,,,then found the way to make both inside posts plumb during glue ....now it seems hard and bonding to hull looks stronger than before ,,and still I got to try out drive...Its easier to replace to new hull but repairable....I think...
try to post before after photos

Very interesting. I'm sure a number of people will be interested in how it works out.
Do you know the type of epoxy?

Good job on those columns Trapfly! 8)
A while back Roadrunner got a couple more seasons out of his Adventure with the same cracks.
