Last July, my brother and I took our H16's to Long Beach. Almost could not sail as almost all parking was taken up by a film crew for America's Top Model. I have never watched the show.

Wind was heavy and sailing was tense. Models were on the beach playing football.

My sister called me today and said she saw a commercial for this weeks ATM - she saw my brothers Tequilla Sunrise H16 in the commercial.

If anyone can stomach sitting through the show on Wednesday 10/19 - look for the boats in the pic below -

I was there that day too. By the time I got there, they said that there were already 2 boats out but I had no idea they were referring to you. I also think John (A-cat) was out that day. I think I've got some pics around here somewhere !!! They had about 6 mini-football fields marked off.

Sorry for no chick/pix.

They all looked like they were 15 years old - It would have been too pervy.

Also, I was probabley checking out new mods to "Sciatica" - Dave is always doing amazing things to that boat.

I must be getting old - I would wrather take a pic of a nice old boat than a young butt. (Sounded totally believable when I said this to my wife - the trick is to say it with a far away look of lost youth - I think I nailed it!)

My sister emailed me and took me to task -
"It's America's NEXT Top Model...I enjoy the show for the photography ideas..usually fast forward through the other BS."

Now I know who is watching this show....

And yeah the boat is paid for (2008 H116).

I got a screamin deal on it. It had had only been sailed about 5 times. I paid about half of what a new one would be.

Life is good.

BTW, I didn't take any pics of any girls either. I was so impressed with all the equipment required for the shooting, I started taking pics of that !!! John was right . . . they looked like 14 year old boys. Think I'll watch on Wednesday to see if there's anything I missed. Probably not !!!

Saw the show last night - quite a few shot of both boats on the beach. A few of the red/white (smoke and fire) H16 sailing in the background.

Yeah !!! I saw them too. I thought they looked pretty good. I could see "whoever it was" leaning against the boat and watching the girls. Great looking boats !!! Didn't I see yours in the water at one point ??? :?

So much beauty! I mean look at the waves! It's just so beautiful. Too bad these women seem to be keeping that fine gentleman from sailing. I can't imagine what it must be like for him!! Having to literally throw these women aside just to be able to get to his boat.
