Blasting back and forth across Coventry Lake over this past weekend, enjoy! It was pretty gusty so I was dumping the sheet a lot... probably a lot more then I had too...

Nice video! If you will keep the windward hull just kissing the water you could have gotten 20 or better. In most of the video the windward hull was pretty buried. Eliminating the drag on that hull makes a huge difference in speed!

Just curious - what do you use to cover your phone or GPS while sailing? Is the case waterproof? Always concerned about going over and destroying phone.

I use the aquapac iphone cover. It is great, touch screen works perfect and somehow the bag does not block sound so you can still make phone calls right through it.

I second the aquapac case. I've used one for months now. They seem a little delicate, but it's held up well to some abuse, and like you said, everything works through the case, videos, pics, calls, etc.

Thanks for the Info. Just ordered it. Have to have a case you can use - the hard Pelican cases seem fine but unusable for manipulating the phone.
