Well I just found out about these fishing Kayaks and visited a store that had the Hobie Mirage Outback S.U.V in stock and ready to go for about 1,600.00 thats with everything. My question to you all is will this kayak carry 350 pounds of man meat? It does say capacity is 400 lbs but you know how that is. Any one know how this thing would do with 350 pounds in it.

Thanks,
Steve

I have an Outback that works really nice for me and I am 270, I first practiced in my pool and found that I can tump over if not carefull so I made an out rigger out of 4" pvc for about 70$ that snapps in very simple, this allows me to go out on windy days and have even chased after the sandbass on area lakes, good fishing, Pomoxis.

I go 275 and have no problems with my Mirage. Balance is not a problem for me either. See the picture in daytime and night time bass post
