I fish hard lol, I use the ship to help keep position while fishing, so it somewhat rubs the structure as the waves go up and down.

Thank you for this topic, I will be picking up my PA in two weeks :) I can't wait but looking at the damage some of the PA's take I can see why S Steel would be a great option! Looks good. I have something that I might try, (it is used in miltary application for surface protection, its flexible and should take the beating!! once I have my PA i'll post up my modifications.

I have something in mind that is similar. Funny part is I'm in Plastics and I have some films that may do the job pretty well. once I get my PA in my hot little hands i'll try a few materials on it to see the fit and finish and test it out on the PA to be sure that the adhesives do not react in a bad way with the PA's "Skin".

YakAttak has a product that is being tested now, it is called GunnAll Guard, I remember seeing a picture so I went looking for it and found this:
